nVidia bought Ageia and their PhysX software. For those who thought the GPU is unable to handle the extra load of physics effects, should have been eating their words long ago. Everything from the GeForce8 cards and up can now perform PhysX calculations via CUDA. nVidia's newest drivers should be ab...

Or better yet, the sun, because we'll eventually populate the moon. We already have 1 satellite headed to the sun, why not a "garbage scow" satellite with spent rods? Ya know what beastay? That's my idea as well. Why not shoot all of the garbage into the sun. The vessel will melt before it impacts ...

The biggest drawback to nuclear plants is what to do with the old rods that are used up. If we can figure that out we'd be set as far as energy production goes. Nuclear plants are the most efficient way to produce electricity. They are also very safe and quite friendly to the planet (aside of the s...

We really do need to build more refineries. The ones we have now are operating in over drive and can't keep up. A few more refineries and a few more nuke plants and the cost of gasoline will drop back down to under $3 a gallon. I do think that folks driving suv's just as a status symbol are retarde...

Maybe you like a government to tell you what to drive, when to drive, how to drive or how to live, but not me. Face it......It's a resource and we will use it. censored no I wouldn't. Imagine everyone in the the now United States of Socialism driving boring, grey expression-neutral cars, dressed in...

That's the thing to remember - unlike the '70s gas crisis, where we were running out of gas, people carpooled and r...
