Oh you were saying done as in packaged and ready to go :D Of course it was "done" back then. Done before it went open beta. That's typical software policy.

Ya I didn't mean to make you think, the game was perfectly done. (Features, bugs, ETC...)
This day one patch should fix a lot of the Beta issues, and add hopefully some basic "Battlefield features". But if it didn't I could live with it. The Beta didn't have those features and had bugs, and I still enjoyed it a lot.
