Hang in there - I have been pretty sick

Thanks for everyone's patients on the ut2k4 software upgrade (server patch).

As you may know I have been pretty sick and went under 2 surgeries. Thats why you dont see me online (ut game and skype). I don't feel so well. Some days are better and some are worse. All i can do is take medication and sleep. I have 1 more surgery in the next 2 weeks and all shall be behind me.

What's the illness??? Well don't really know, I am seeing a 3rd doctor now. So far all 3 doctors need to be shot with flak of power +10. All I know its sinuses related. I keep running fevers and also losing balance (dizzyness) and fall down. I seem to have a serious sinus infection and tissue mass (cancer-less). The infection caused my throat to swell as well. I had my tonsils removed when I was 10; however, this infection is so bad that it looks like they grew back, LOL; two lumps in back of throat. On top of that, I have a deviated septom that they are going to fix during this next surgery. From what I know, they are going scrap tissue and re-break nose. I am tired of military and civilian doctors and tired of taking so much pills (anti-biotics & steriods). I hate drugs!

Anyways, thought I pop on to give you un update.

My goal in the next 2 weeks, if not sooner.
1. Patch UT2k4 server with our new custom software upgrade with fixes and enhancements.
2. Register BattleField 2 as ranked server.
3. Looking into what other games would you like on server. As you can see, we are making other game type categories on the forum, making it a one-stop-shop game forum for everyone so you guys can stay in contact.

I can run 4 games on server, so far we have UT2k4 and BF2

add TAM and iCTF as a gametype and when are we gonna see a UT3 server? Galnators Invasion is looking pretty decent.

i would lik to see a UT3 server up for this.. even though i hav 1 processor in my cmp FTW!!.. i will see how i will be able to run a server lik this on UT# :finga: :finga: :drinkers: :partyman: :axe:

Dia's 100% correct here - don't try pushing yourself too hard when it comes to the games/servers. Just take your time to recoup and get better first. You're health is paramount, because if it fails, then we're out our favorite admin.

Since you did ask, though, I'm for having UT3 on the server, especially now that development has gone / is going very well with Invasion and RPG.

Dia and beast are right, theres no need to worry about working on the server. Your main job is to get well. Just today my Phys. Therapist ran me hard today and I've possibly re-torn my ligament or the that they've cut a piece out of to replace it.. So plain and simple.. Don't you even try to rush your self, keep it in a slow steady and health pace. And you'll be better in no time. So Joey, Get well soon! And take as much time off as you need to.

Okay, here is what I will provide the community for server games.

1. UT2K4 (status: already running, just need to do the major patch of our fixes and enhancements)
2. BF2 (status: already loaded, just need to flip the ON switch)
3. UT3 (status: need to go buy it and load it on server)
4. Maybe COD4 or the other games you wanted (I just need to go buy it and load it on server)

My goal is keep the server running and so you guys can stay in touch with your friends.

hey they be right. get better b4 over exzerting urself on the server. im not going anywhere soon. i can wait : D
