What did you change?

Instead of 5 stars for a forum rank now you have military ranks. They are on top of your picture.

and what's the point of those?

So when the forum gets booming again people can easily see who the veterans are around here.

Sry have not seen much of or any of rank system

I wonder how one wouldn't notice the change, even I with my not even 20 posts noticed it pretty much immediatly. I think it's pretty cool. Though I consider myself to be experienced enough to help others I will probably never reach a high rank because I just won't post that much. The MM forums beeing dead won't help with this. Pretty good anyway.

Let me ask this.......How does the ranking system work?

Don't take me for granted but I think I already figured out how it works. The Rank is based on the number of posts (obviously).

1. There are (well of course) different ranks like private, corporal, seargent and the likes
2. Each rank has a few levels before you reach the next rank, 3 sub ranks each if I derived correctly. Whereas the sub ranks are Bronze /Silver /Gold

For Example:
Private 1/2/3
Specialist 4/5/6
Corporal 7/8/9
Sergeant 10/11/12
Staff Sergeant 13/14/15
Master Sergeant 16/17/18
First Sergeant 19/20/21
and so on. I wouldn't know the exact post limits though, since later promotions obviously require more extra posts.
