I KNOW! I KNOW!!

Make an "office space" - an area with a buncha cubicles together, each with desk/comp/phone/chair, and offices surrounding the cube farm, complete with flourescent lighting. In tems of scale, make it "normal" scale - that is, our in-game avatar could reasonably sit in a chair (due to size scale). I would very much like to imagine it was my own office I was running around and blowing mobs up in! LOL!

With toilet cubicles you can hide in, with a door that bigger monsters can't fit through :p

I got the unrealed out yesterday as well, gonna have a stab at a few new ones methinks.

so yeah i set my grid up at X/Y=50 Z=11 (advanced settings ftw \\(^.^)//)

because according to wiki, ut2k4 player is apx 88uu tall, and 50uu = 1meter

i hav a giant room and i hav a 3m x 3m cubicle w/ a 1m door. i think thats small enuf XD
the room... is 3 thousand sqr meters. lmfao. its gonna be like nightmare business land. DM-Your-Brain-On-Employment.

im thinkin that once i get my cubicle set up, im gonna hav a little desktop comp, a tiny cabinet on the wall, and a trash can. im gonn take all of that and make a static mesh outa it and put like 2000 of em in there xD.

hav a grid of about 6m wide halls between blocks of cubicles, and a few side rooms like janitor, boss's office (gonna be like a censored mansion im gonna try and contrast it so much x)), reception desk downstairs (either via elevator, teleporter, stairs, but i think all 3 :)).

oh and the cubicles are uhhhh 88+44 tall, which is player height + 1/2 (im not completely decided on this yet, may make it shorter) and the room is ummm..... hm... i think i made it 3 times player height.. or 2.5..

MANNNN i wanna work on itttttttt censored SCHOOL OMFG i got this period then luch and still 2 more -.-. ... . .. .. .. alsjdgoiasjdgoijsdlkjcasoijdo3jr43098tu0re9fjkmlack dmfvio idflj3289ujrfmfklgy35jmvirli54urfged80i. lol

i think im gonna have some side hidden thingies that have some cool/funny stuff in em. like secret room above the cubicals with like satans face on the wall looking down on the cubicals. and one sided seethrough stuff so u can c the cubicals from up there.... not sure, that was just an idea i had 30 seconds ago so yeah funn]

y u still readin this? llol too much time on ur hands?

im sooo bored omg plz sum1 reply b4 next period

it's painfully obvious what needs to be added to your map idea: a secret smokers room. :hwsb2:

No, there should not be room to jump over the cubicles, yet enough room to jump onto a chair and either view over the top of the cubicle walls or even shoot over them (perhaps my jumping onto the desk)

as far as negotiating them, that should be easy - there should be 2 sets of 8 cubes (in a 2x4 setup) in the middle of the room, with a open hall/circuit running around them and a connecting hall running between the two. On the wall OPPOSITE of the cubes - that is, as you go down each side (not in between at the middle, or at the ends) there are doors leading into offices/rooms.

Hope that clarifies my idea a little.
