ok i just tried to download something and it wants me to do something with the ini file of satore monster pack i dunno were the ini is and wut it is
also wut i was trying to download is the metal and ghost monsters

WEll depending on what you are trying to do there are 2 ini files located in your ut systems folder . One of them is your user ini and that is all your personal settings.... if you do ont know what you are doing there DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING !!!!!
The second one is your UT 2004 ini that is mostly server side stuff that is needed if you run a server or plan on doing so, but that should not have anything related to what you are trying to install.
The best thing i could tell you is to supply a link or a screen cap of what its trying to tell you so i can give you further detailed instructions......

ya listen to intimidater if you mess something up you might have to reinstall the game like i did when i downloaded the ut2 vote when i was runing my server my whole ut was censored up!

You must add the following lines to the SatoreMonsterPack.ini so the monsters are configurable with the Satore mutator:

Add these lines under serverpackages in your ut2004.ini if you are running a server:
ServerPackages=MetalAndGhostMonsters

Don't forget to remove these lines from ut2004.ini if you added them from a previous beta:
ServerPackages=MetalMonsters
ServerPackages=GhostMonsters

... and remove this line from SatoreMonsterPack.ini under [satoreMonsterPackv120.SMPNaliFighter] if you added it
from a previous beta:
weaponClassName=MetalMonsters.INIRedeemer and/or
WeaponClassName=GhostMonsters.INIRedeemer

yes i meet all the requirements for the mutator and are you telling me to run all of those mutators i have on my server i have to do something with the ini or just certain mutators

The server that you are running, is it from your own pc or is it hosted from someone else?
Most times when a mutator is installed it does all those lines manually for u but on older mutators you must put in each line manually but you have to do it just right or you could fudge up the whole installation and the game itself.......
If you are running it from your own pc go to C:\UT2004, (C= your own hard drive). Then go to the systems folder and in the systems folder you will find the file named UT2004 ini . Scroll down into the bottom portion and see if you see anything that contains any of those lines that you supplied above.
Look under the headings where it starts
ServerPackages=
If they are not there i will follow up upon more info...
Unless you want to try and add them yourself, But remember THEY MUST BE DONE EXACTLY RIGHT !!!!!!!!
no spaces in between lines !!!!!!

oh it was easy to come up with there was a person named flying panda who played ut2004 but i didnt copy him i usually just take flying and put an exotic animal after it flyingkuwala is cool too
