Cancer has returned
Well, had my quarterly MRI and found my brain cancer had returned. The way it's looking right now, I'll have my surgery to remove the tumor on the same day as my knee surgery.

Thanks for letting us know man I'll keep you in prayer. You kicked its ass once, you'll vanquish it this time!

Re: Cancer has returned
Well, looks like I'll be rescheduling my knee surgery to a future date and scheduling my brain tumor removal on the 26th. The anesthesiologist says the risks are too high to do both on the same day.

Re: Cancer has returned
take it from someone who has gone through a 12 hour procedure, and I was 22 at the time.... back to back surgery with brain involved, not a good idea... kind of why I saw the cardiologist recently to rule out shoulder issues.. think it's a rotator that is misaligned but needed to take care of collateral issue .... when I woke up after that surgery at 22, it took me a 6 weeks to get out of icu .. but they had no choice but to keep me under that long.. complications set in, pneumonia to name one.... better that you get it done in separate procedures....
Also, all the best, and I really hope things go well for you... sucks with the timing though.... need to get a tablet or something with wifi, one of the things I should get... never know when you're going to get laid up. Take care.
