There aint no real difference between level250 and 350, some "high" level players just like to think that way.

if there is a fix date to launch 180 official, can we have 1 week before that launch old settings on 179 back?

good point. so it works like in old time when you could unload the mini-ssr pu and give it to others to
make 16 mini-ssr-using players?

also the copy-pu looks like will drop often, so everyone can get one. means, crate open, copying wand 15 times???

it tends more to be a allways win pu when weps are NOT "only" copied in last waves when new players join, if its
for "THAT" idea, then it should only work in last waves, not from the beginning...

Well dunno if it's gonna happen or not but wands and ssr should be removed from crates imo.
But I think the droprate of this PU should be extremely low and with more pu's added, at the lowest droprate it should be more rare then the rarest PU you see now.

This guy does not care for the SSR mini. I'd rather shield gun them w/o the shield gun PU. Then again getting top score never meant anything, it's the TEAM work that helps. For instance, I'll take off a rock shield, gib shield, or what ever if someone else needs it to be set to withstand them and I am not set up for it. Lately you've seen me run around with the link. Helps to link up to someone else and let them get EXP. Bringing back old school link party.
I do like all the new stuff and look forward to playing with them on a regular basis on the regular server.

Clone PU will be a rare drop like Inf, Phantom (Paints ghost pu renamed), etc. They aren't to difficult and time consuming to add, so will most likely be in v180.
The focus and effort is on v180, and then onto v181+. So Joey won't look at v179 until it is time to shut that server down, and update.

Next time I speak with Joey, I'll see about having him remove Wands, and SSR from crate. It is just 2 lines of code to remove from an ini file.

Will that being said,
Joey has one more day of work and the rest of the week off to finish and release v180. He had an issue this past weekend with his tooth, and got it looked at yesterday. Said he would be fine after that.
Ill say it again Joey has the drive to get it done, and we really are close to releasing this thing. But his family, work, and himself come first and if he has to step away from the PC and code, he just has to step away.



If things go thru and we finish, we would love to release on the 10th anniversary of UT2K4 this coming Sunday the 16th. Maybe even do a server party with a couple of "freebie" games with spawned weapons.
