New Patch 180 Ranking System V2

Ok this time working with joey, this is what we have come up with for the new ranking system. This is a hybrid of the last several Battlefield games and UT2004.

BF2: We incorporated starting off at a slow ramp up, and ending in general ranks with an increase in ranking difficulty for those ranks: http://bf2awards.com/ranks/

UT2004: We are using UT2004RPG

As you can see it is drastically different from our current ranking system and therefore we have to RESET ALL LEVEL STATS and everyone starts fresh at level 1. The server will have its own ranking system now, and to make all of this work each monster you kill will only give you 1 experience point (score board scores will stay the same). So in effect you level up based on kills.

The new system will have a new promotion system (visible symbols above the player's head in game) based off the the US Army ranking system. Here is how it works...

Yes you are reading this right. There are only 45 levels. Each level will pay out 240 stat points. We are also thinking about doubling the stat caps too (except weapon speed). And there will be plenty of new RPG abilities to spend your points on. Now here is how many experience points it will take you to get from level 1-45(Private to 5 Star General). Because UT2004RPG deletes your experience each time you rank up instead of carrying it over (IE: Level 1 Start: [0/5], Level 2 Finish: [5/5], Level 2 Start: [0/10] instead of Level 2 Start: [5/10]), I had to devise something different than "normal". I did this to conform with the BC2 ranking system. http://www.mlwgames.com/badcompany2/multiplayer-ranks. As you can see there, as you rank it starts easy then gets harder with some small breaks along the way. I carried over this concept in the ranking system below. Some of them look like this "310~180". The 1st number relates to the rank and how many points you will have had to accumulate this far as shown above in the BC2 link (In this case 310 is the number of points to be become a PFC 1 star). The 2nd number is actually how many experience points you need to get to that level. And as always, please let me know what you think by giving this a vote. Hmm, pretty sure my CD key i used to play this originally is long gone. Not sure if I can handle starting over from scratch and relearning how to play.

Guess I still have my levels. Was surprised how many people are still around. Arch, Drae, M3RC, Amy, Coke, Taxas...few more select people and Carball might be back on the menu.
