exactly these people are the first who use shotty or mini-ssr, or claim for wand, heavy, light or ssr
when crate is open, or use deemers or ssr in that maps cause they cant kill anything or the fear

tooo much needed... well, as long there is no regular ut weapon that can do damage to the monsters
in a moderate time... it makes no sense having a full loaded (phished) flak ext10, doing 100 damage
to a monster each hit, and it needs 100 hits till it dies while monster is doing 2 hits and you die....
works as long you have time to run away from one monster... but there are more monsters aiming at you
so no chance...
hmm.. o wait, im talking about beeing level 342 at 179....
he talks about beeing only lvl 100 at 180... well, what you expect?

Weapons are gonna be looked at in 181.
Propably will put in a piece of coding that will adjust the vorpal chance for each weapon so that each weapon on average takes about the same time to proc vorpal.
Also each regular and starting weapon with their PU's will be on average doing about the same damage.
Got plans for ghost, gold and metal monsters aswell. Gold reflects beams, metal deflects bullets, ghost takes less damage from splash damage.
This way no weapon is "the best" since everything will be about the same.
Special weapons will still be a bit stronger but not as grosely overpowered as some are and will be balanced in the same way.
Example:
Link plasma ball will do the same damage as a rocketlauncher fireball and have the same chance to proc vorpal.
Shotty will do the same damage as an AK47 and on average will take the same amount of time to proc vorpal.
This way you can use the weapon you prefer to use and not having to worry about your weapons being worse then others.
That's the idea I had atleast but that is still a long way from being implemented unfortunatly if it is gonna happen.
About the monsters:
Right now, you're getting your ass kicked in wave2 wich is not intended.
We don't want it to be impossibly difficult at low level but don't want it to be easy at high level either.
I don't want you to be only able to kill a monster with just Vorpal procs, you should be able to take them down with regular damage and let Vorpal be a small chance to gib them a bit quicker.
Some monsters are intended to be really hard like the boss luci, why he can't be killed with vorpal and why he is gonna have a ton more health then the other monsters. He is the final boss so to speak.
We changed shielding aswell so that you are no longer completely immune to certain weapons/attacks.
We want you to dodge those rocks and the wands and what not and focus those targets down first, only way to do this is to force you to do this by having shields let you survive but still take significant damage and in the case with rocks you can still die in a single hit from 1 or 2 specific titans.
Numbers differ from 179 aswell because there are new more dangerous monsters, we adjusted excisting monsters, adjusted shielding, we're fixing glitches that people abuse and monsters in general are more difficult.
This is why we are toying with different settings and it will take a little time to test different things out at different levels and different settings untill we are happy with the results.
