Server Redirect - I put in a call to joeyz

Hello Everyone,

Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you all. The website the redirect is hosted on: http://204.11.33.157 is down. I put in a call to joeyz and left a message letting him know that, so hopefully the redirect server will be back up soon. Sorry for the inconvenience everyone, and a BIG shout out to Amy for dedicating a lot of her free time and bandwidth for uploading her cache files so everyone could play in the mean time. It is people like you Amy, Archangel, Cadmium (I apologize to others that I forgot to mention) that keep this server relevant and feeling like "home" even today. I have been pushing joeyz lately to make a bunch of new admins out of the regulars that play today (And keep the old ones). You guys deserve that kind of coverage and have proven to be more than responsible and a great asset to our little community.Thank you to all who have kept this server alive and have helped to make it "home".

is it possible to change the old info about forum that you can read in ut2k4 server info? i miss lvl 10-players
a lot in last time, and if they need to download unsuccessfull for hours and even the website is wrong they might lost
the lust to try again. same for the website-info ingame in MOTD.

I'll let joeyz know but the text update will probably be released with patch 180. He called me back a few hours ago and said he is looking into it. So hopefully we have a resolution for you guys soon.

it isn't only the redirect server, the actual server which may be the same pipe is slow as well, every now and then.. pretty much every game now, it loses a whole bunch of packets and glitches everyone.... could be the phy is dying or the network drivers are messed up.... seeing as the redirect may be on the same pipe, it may be also that when someone is downloading a file, it hogs too much bandwidth and kills the game side.... anyway... to omany things could be wrong, if the redirect and game are on the same pipe, then it's at the provision side that there is a problem.... and thanks for putting in the call.. was going to push amessage out to joeyz... didn't take too long last time to get a response..

This is a bunch of bullshit as far as get some BASIC maintenance on a server that I play every single day for almost 10 yrs. I'm still fighting brain caner and it looks like I'll go to my grave playing on a fubard server....... geeze

I still play just not as often as I used to.
I am still waiting for 181 patch.
And yes I do feel abandoned by my fellow Admins I am the only one to show up
as often as even once a week.

the server is for a lack of a better term censored up ... cannot get through a single map without monsters going stealth, weapons going missing for a few round, if they ever do come back, pups are near non existant at times (either don't drop or just can't see them) ... this server kind of needs a kick in the pants!

I was just going to report the same......packetloss is real high.
