Need help learning UnrealScript.

I'll get right to the point here. I know about how object oriented programming works. I know how to use UCC. I don't know much beyond that. I've done some tutorials, but most of them seem to be monkey-see-monkey-do style, and don't actually teach me anything about the code other than to create one specific thing, and why would I want to do that when it has already been done for me? I've had a look on the wiki, but it is large and vast in my opinion could use a better structure. It also uses google for its search function now, which doesn't help me much. If anyone is interested in helping me to learn, send me a PM or leave a message here.

Buy some books on Java and or C++, since unreal script and java are pretty similar.
