map issue

ok so ive made a map and it is on the server ... we had a play on it today but monsters keep getting trapped within the main elevator on the level........ does n e one know of a solution to stop this ....i have it set to ignore when enroach so if ppl hit it when its moving it will keep going ......if i set it to stop return or crush when enroach will this stop monsters getting stuck within the mover/elevator?

what do you mean with they get "trapped" there? when we played it there was no problem. do you mean
monsters are "trapped" on the top of the map where all the deemers are? thats because 99% of all
players are at the bottom and dont know about the lift how to activate it to get up top, except
they are good with translocator and trans up top in the small center tube. thats why i left trans allways up top
to kill last monsters faster that way than searching for the lift button.

btw. if that was the problem, delete that button and make the lift automatic moving down every ..x seconds or
1-2 minutes and stay down for ... 10 seconds or so...
if all went well the first waves are sometimes over after 1:30min.-2:00min. so, a minute timer would do it i guess

since map is so huge without everyone except (like allways, the same) one player getting superspeed within the
first 10 kills after joining a map its a bit a pain to slowly walk from one side of map to other side to hit the lift button.

thats the only "problem" we had. if theres another one i didnt get it ;)

me and you and paint have played it offline and it was ok but when it was on the server there was in issue with the lift ..... if u r on the lift when it returns back to the top sometimes a couple monsters get stuck within the lift and if u r on it and u jump sometimes u get stuck within it and cant get out and that is when the setting is set to ignore when enroach .

if the setting is set to crush when enroach then if u r on the lift and u jump even if u r in god mode it still kills u the player but not the moneters .

if its set to stop when enroach then if a monster hits it during its cycle the elevator wont finish its run and u wont b able to trigger it again for the whole duration of the map and return when enroach just causes it to spaz out if a monster hits it .

there is nothing wrong with the trigger set up ... that works totally fine but yeah i can c your point in running over the other side of the map to set it off


got to love the issues on map making hahaha

ok now i get it. like when monsters are behind walls ("in the walls"/"behind the map") or under the map
or spawn in crates. only way to kill them is with nuke or link with darmar-pu...

that problem i had not yet, also dont know solution atm. we only have problems in a handfull maps
where monsters and players suddenly are trapped in small boxes under the lift, but these lifts are
just "regular" small lifts like "they should be", and not in the size of the half map :)

i would like to ask mighty google, but dunno how to describe it :-/ and in my language
i dont need to ask, i´m sure there are no answers...

its all good now ...totally removed it from the map.... added teleports to the top room and changed the weapons also .... added a few lill bits in the map and had it uploaded ........ it was a lill big ppl were saying so ive just dropped it by 40 %
just sent it to paint so he is going to check it then upload it
